Location: Kagera

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is responsible for maintaining and developing the Trunk and Regional Road Network in Tanzania Mainland. It also conducts Axle Load Control Operations using Weighbridge scales. The Regional Manager TANROADS Kagera, on behalf of the Chief Executive, is looking for suitable, qualified, and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant positions for the Upgrading of the Kyerwa-Omurushaka Road (50KM) to Bitumen Standard under the Design and Build project..

Works Inspector – Drainage/Structures (1 Post)

Entry Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with ERB as a Graduate Engineer.
• At least three (3) years of working experience in a relevant field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing structural drawings and reports to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Review, inspect, and approve all materials and completed works for adherence to technical specifications.
• Maintain a detailed site diary.

General Conditions

• Successful applicants must be ready to work in Kyerwa District, where the project is located.
• Specified contract of one (1) year.
• Salary and allowances per TANROADS Incentive Policy.
