Key Purpose 

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will be responsible for implementing the company’s regulatory  compliance program, ensuring adherence to industry laws, regulations, and license obligations. This role  involves fostering a culture of compliance that supports prudent risk management and aligns with the  organization’s commitment to connecting, delivering, and innovating. 

Responsibilities 

• Ensure compliance with telecommunications industry laws, regulations, and license obligations. • Monitor organizational practices to maintain compliance and facilitate a strong compliance  culture. 
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust data protection policies and procedures, including  adherence to Group-level policies. 
• Conduct regulatory risk management by identifying potential non-compliance areas and  mitigating risks to prevent fines or penalties. 
• Review and align operational practices with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk and Compliance, or a related field. 
• Certification in data protection or privacy law is an added advantage. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on data  protection. 
• Comprehensive understanding of telecommunications regulations and the broader business  environment. 
• Strong knowledge of telco and data protection laws and regulations. 
• Familiarity with data processing operations and information systems.
