1. Principal Officer I – Agribusiness (Senior Manager Agribusiness)
   • Department: Retail and SME Banking
   • Reports to: Director of Retail and SME Banking
   • Location: Dar es Salaam
   • Positions Available: 2
   • Position Objective: The Senior Manager Agribusiness will focus on growing and maintaining the asset portfolio for Agri-Smallholder Farmers, mobilizing deposits, and driving sales activities. The role involves collaborating with various departments and facilitating customer engagement within the agricultural sector.
   • Key Responsibilities:
     • Develop and analyze business opportunities within the agricultural value chain.
     • Manage external relationships with agribusiness partners and funds.
     • Drive agribusiness asset and income growth through strategic initiatives.
     • Assess agribusiness credit applications and ensure quality loan bookings.
     • Build capacity for Relationship Officers and Managers.
     • Review and advise on existing and new agribusiness products.
   • Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
     • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Science, or related fields.
     • At least 6 years of experience in Banking or Financial Institutions, with a minimum of 2 years in agribusiness.
     • Strong knowledge of agribusiness banking products and services, especially in crops, livestock, fishing, and forestry.
     • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
     • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead change.

     • Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
     • Oversee database performance and implement optimization strategies.
     • Install and manage database software, ensuring backup and restoration protocols.
     • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure proper database management.
     • Provide technical support and training to application programmers and other staff.
   • Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
     • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
     • At least 6 years of experience in database administration within the Banking or Financial Industry.
     • Proficient in database design and programming in Oracle and WebLogic.
     • Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
