Job Opportunity: Head of IT Infrastructure

Position Overview

• Title: Head – IT Infrastructure
• Location: Dar Es Salaam, Head Office
• Reports to: Head – ICT
• Job Purpose: To ensure that the bank’s Network and Infrastructure Systems are available and to ensure that this is achieved and supported securely, efficiently, and consistently.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other ICT-related courses.
• Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in an IT environment with familiarity with service delivery culture and support function.

Duties

• Requests for quotations, prepares memos, and procures bank’s IT Infrastructure, especially Servers, PCs, Printers, Networks, etc.
• Acts as a team leader in specific IT projects.
• Network & System Security: Maintain robust cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
• License & Certificate Management: Monitor software licenses, digital certificates, and renewals to prevent disruptions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and vendor requirements.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and implement recovery plans to minimize downtime and protect data integrity.
• Documentation: Ensures documentation on all Network and Server Systems is created.
• Policies and Procedures: Ensures that the policies and procedures related to Network and Servers are followed.
