Job Purpose:
MHEs (electric Aisle Master and Electric Forklift) will be responsible for Operate relevant Material Handling Equipment in a manner that minimises downtime, damage and cost, and with due consideration for all company quality standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-shift Material Handling Equipment (MHE) inspections and provide reports to the Supervisor highlighting all issues.
• Wash & clean Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and relevant charging area whilst on shift.
• Document odometer readings at the beginning and end of each shift and report them for Service when they are due.
• Recharge Material Handling Equipment (MHE) timeously and safely and document all litres dispensed.
• Work with Supervisors in determining the work to be completed whilst on shift.
• Load and unload all forms of transport speedily and safely as required.
• Redistribute inventory on site as required.
• Assist with stacking and unstacking of bins.
• Ensure Forklift/Asset driver’s license is valid & up to date.
• Comply with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards and requirements, and drive with care to prevent accidents or incidents, and any related product quality damages.

Job Qualification and Experience:

• A minimum of Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education is required
• Valid Forklift Driver’s License.
• Minimum 1 Year driving experience, and the ability to operate the MHE in a safe and effective manner.
• Good communication skills.
• English Language (Reading) is required

Terms of Service: The successful candidates will be engaged on a Permanent Contract.
