Vacancy: Finance Assistant

The East, Central, and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) invites applications for the position of Finance Assistant from suitably qualified candidates who are nationals and/or residents of the United Republic of Tanzania. The position is based at the ECSA-HC Secretariat in Arusha, Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Maintain finance archives and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, VAT returns, and financial reports.
• Assist in audits and provide administrative support to the Finance Director.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance & CPA-T/ACCA membership.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software & donor-funded finance management.
• Fluency in English.

Contract & Benefits

• Three-year renewable contract with an attractive salary package.
