SUTAPRO Company is registered in the United Republic of Tanzania in the Mining industry. The main activities of the Company are to explore, search, exploit, develop, mine, process, treat, refine prepare for market, transport, market or otherwise deal in gold, gold ores, minerals and all sorts of substances found in, above or below the ground and to acquire dealers’ rights, exploration and mining rights or concessions in respect thereof. The company wishes to recruit an enthusiastic, self-driven candidates for the following position:

Position: Accountant; REF: SUT/LT/2/2025-1
Job Location: Kahama
Accountant, is responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts, manage all accounting transactions, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, Ensure timely bank payments, manage payroll systems, and maintain cash flow, conduct risk analysis, Monitor accounting discrepancies, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

The duties of the accountant are:
❖ Manage all accounting transactions.
❖ Preparing financial statements, including budgets, commentaries, and business plan
❖ Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
❖ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
❖ Ensure timely bank payments.
❖ Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
❖ Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. ❖ Statutory Audit and Internal Audit.
❖ Cost and Management Accountant
❖ Managing payroll systems and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
❖ Financial Advice on tax planning services based on current legislation, Auditing financial information to ensure companies have an accurate account of their financial information, and Ensuring compliance with financial regulations

The candidate should possess the following qualifications and Experiences:

1. Bachelor in accounting and finance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
2. Knowledge of local laws, codes and regulations
3. Must be computer Literate
4. 3+ years of accounting experience (preferred).
5. Excellent knowledge of accounting package will be added as advantage
6. Experience of working in mining is an added advantage.
7. Fulfilled the requirements of Leadership and integrity
