JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Pricing/forecasting the cost of the different components needed for a project.

2.Tracking changes to the design and /or construction work and adjusting budget project in line with these.

3.Selecting and /or sourcing construction materials.

4.Sourcing contractors/subcontractors to work on the construction stage of the project.

5.Applying for new projects and all the bidding procedure

6.Measuring and valuing the work done on site

7.Paying subcontractors

8. Liasing with the client and other construction professionals such as site managers,project managers and site engineers.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

1.Bachelor degree in Quantity surveying and construction Economics

2.Numeracy

3.Negotiation skills

4.Attention to detail and methodical approach to work

5.Ability to work in a team
