Operation supervisor – Group and Individual Loan

Operation Supervisor – Group and Individual Loan at TEVI Microfinance

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that credit operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability and sustainable growth of the Company Assets;
• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to loan officers;
• Organize workflow and ensure that loan officers understand their duties or delegated tasks;
• Monitor your loan officers’ productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching;
• Receive complaints and resolve problems;
• To prepare and submit daily and monthly performance reports for his subordinates/loan officers to the Operations Manager which will also be reported to the board meetings in monthly basis;
• To manage the application of policies, norms and procedures at all levels and supervise the entire process so that it works as per the laid down Tevi Microfinance Limited procedures;
• To supervise client recruitment, loan disbursement and loan management and monitoring; visit clients for monitoring, assessment and collect service effectiveness feedback
• To Manage portfolio quality and quantity in order to meet company expectations; and ensure Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and Non-Performing Loans at acceptable levels of the institution as well as of the regulators;
• To evaluate loan packages, identify gaps and recommend for modification; and lead credit committee meetings in the absence of the operation manager.
• Evaluation of client’s credit information (CRB report) and recommend on whether the client is eligible to be given loan; and

Reporting

• Prepare Portfolio growth and quality Performance report and submit to the management on monthly bases;
• Propose new policy ideas to improve the company operations and submit to the management for discussion.
• Performing any other duties as may be delegated or assigned to you by the operations Manager.

Skills and Experience Required

• A minimum of Bachelor of Business Administration, Banking, Finance or any business-related course
• Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role in both Group and Individual loan
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The successful candidate must have worked in the microfinance for more than 4 years in different roles.
• Strong with skills on management of people
• Encourage and motivate his/ her subordinates to meet their targets
• Excellent communications skills
