It operates globally, with 135 locations in countries such as Zanzibar, Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Iringa. SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania seeks qualified candidates for the following positions:

Job Title: Gender and SRHR Project Officer

Duty Station: Iringa
Reporting to: Project Officer

Job Summary: This role leads gender equality and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) interventions, ensuring vulnerable groups receive the necessary services while promoting gender equality and preventing violence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SRHR interventions, focusing on gender equality.
• Oversee gender-sensitive training and capacity-building activities.
• Monitor and report on gender-focused project objectives and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Gender, Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in gender, SRHR, and community engagement.
• Knowledge of GBV prevention and gender equality practices.
