Location: Kilombero and Kilosa Districts, Morogoro Region
Unitrans Tanzania Limited is looking for an Assistant Contract Manager to manage and optimize operations at a sugar estate.

Job Purpose:
To implement, manage, and optimize all Unitrans operations on the sugar estate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the cane haulage operations including mechanical harvesting.
• Manage ancillary operations like road maintenance, crop spraying, and fertilizer application.
• Ensure optimum driver and vehicle utilization.
• Ensure all safety, health, and environmental regulations are adhered to.
• Perform monthly workplace inspections and liaise with Safety, Health, and Environmental Representatives.
• Compile operations budgets and ensure revenue and expenditure are within budget parameters.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure ongoing exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with quality management policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports as required.
• Proactively respond to customer needs and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• 3-5 years of experience in a senior supervisory position.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
• Age not more than 45 years old.
