Job Function

Responsible for overall day to day Stores Operations, making sure stores activities runs smoothly, cleanly and meets the target.

Key Performance Areas:

• Assist in receiving, inspecting and verifying incoming fuel against purchase order
• Assist in preparing and issuing materials and supplies to departments as requested
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all fuel issued or received
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized storage area, ensure fuel stored properly
• Maintain accurate records of fuel dispenses from fuel station
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in the store – Fuel station
• Collaborate with different departments to fulfil their refueling request in a timely and efficient manner.
• Report the replenishment requirement when fuel stock level is below 20,000 Ltrs
• Avoid unnecessary use of company properties, proper use of Company resources, avoid losses of fuel
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the station’s fuel pumps
• Ensure that the fuel pumps, tanks, surrounding area are in good working order
• Conduct daily dipping of fuel stock level and report on any discrepancy
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Certificate or Diploma of any field

Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 1 years of experience working in similar environment and position.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in Kiswahili
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of refueling procedures of fuel stations.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in hot and noisy environments
• Ability to work with customers/Users
