Job Title: Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day running of the storeroom and stock management.
• Liaise with store supervisor officer and Department heads in order to forecast future stocklist and inventory.
• Select proper storage areas and store articles in bins, racks, shelves, and floor or yard areas.
• Issue materials physical and SAP, supplies, tools, parts and equipment, obtaining proper records and requisitions.
• Ensure all stock is given in stock taking activities involving all stock of parts as well as oils, tires and fuels.
• Take an active and leading role in stock taking activities involving all stock of parts as well as oils and fuels.
• Ensure to follow the Standard operating procedure (SOPs) / processes on purchasing and stock keeping.
• Prepare all request requisition according to stock level and re order level.
• Recording all good received note according to delivery note and present to store supervisor.
• Receive and Recording all receipt/invoice from supplier in invoice dispatch book and present to store supervisor.
• Implement company safety rules to ensure as safe environment for staff to work in.
• Keeping attention to returned wrong items and tools/ machines for supplier at relevant time.
• To record and keep reference for all gate pass according to company rule.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by immediate Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Records Management or any other related field from the recognized institution.
• Proven experience of 2+ years of experience as Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics company.
• Ability to use SAP as a software program to run the operations (will be an added advantage).
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Attentive to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating inventory levels.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
