Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual who thrives on pushing the boundaries of Accounting and Managing Finance, who sees challenges as opportunities to explore new avenues of expression. As a Senior Accountant with us, your role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, with a particular emphasis on reconciliations. If you’re a proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a drive for excellence you are the person we are looking for!

You would be a fit if you can:

o Oversee Accounting Operations: Manage all aspects, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

o Ensure month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate financial reports

o Implement efficient financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance

o Prepare budgets and business performance including variance analysis and actuals vs budget for the country

Key Responsibilities:

o Ensure the efficient management of company’s financial accounts and that they are aligned to the approved mandates.

o Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank, coordination, and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.

o Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.

o Maintain and manage company’s bank accounts register and update any changes.

o Ensure the movement of cash within the operating countries is in a tax efficient manner.

o Ensure all markets carry out bank, supplier and petty cash reconciliations.

o Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.

Must Have Job Requirements:

Education/Experience Needed:

o Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting option & ACCA or CPA (T)

o At least 7 years’ experience in a similar function

o Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising a team

o Proficient in Ms. Office, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAGE

o Knowledge of finance processes, principles and systems

o Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, variances, and anomalies, and provide recommendations for improvement.

o Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and support team commitments.

o Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
